Where do all of the Vegan and Vegetarian Staff and Students stand on this matter? Why is the Town of Pok. allowing this if it violates and ordinance???

your poughkeepsie journal ad is misleading people. using the word tiny while referring to poughkeepsie's deer herd is outragous. we have too many deer, they are pests that damage peoples landscape,spread ticks and disease, and cause automobile acidents. i understand that we have developed their range but that can not be changed. i believe vassar should move foward with the well thought out thinning of the "way too large deer herd" in poughkeepsie.

Great work! Is killing always the answer to every animal "problem" we encounter. When I lived in Rockland it was the geese at the local parks. Thank goodness for people like you to make people aware!
